The only problem is that they lowered the price after I bought it.

Bought these and a few other things for under $280 total, including shipping. Field tested them (I play Airsoft regularly) and was beyond pleased. The video and sound quality both exceeded my expectations. They're comfortable to wear with gear on, I had no fogging issues (airsofters and paintballers know the pain) and the ANSI lenses installed with no issues.the only downside I found through 6 1/2 hours of play was recording in near pitch black is near impossible, though that was expected. 10/10 WILL keep and use again.

I will be using this product while on bicycle tours in Europe. What sold me were the status LEDs visible in the corner of your eye. With the helmet mounted GoPro you could barely hear the "beeps" that let you know if it was "on" or "recording". After a day of riding a helmet mounted camera, even a light one, is tiring because of the high Center of Gravity.
I'm also hoping to sneak the Pivothead into museums which do not normally allow cameras inside.
The Pivothead provides great video and pictures, and, the lens quality on the eyeware is clear and provides good UV and wind protection.
The only downside is that it is not waterproof so I will need the GoPro for high humidity, rain and SCUBA.

These glasses perform as advertised. I am amazed. Very easy to use and great video quality - HD!

I love the Kudo Black glasses that I bought, the video quality is better than Ive seen in other glass. The only problem I have is I think for $200.00 a case should come with them not have to be ordered separately.

I purchased a pair of Pivothead Kudus looking to obtain hands-free video while coaching competitive swimming. I am an early technology adopter/innovator in my field and I think there is a huge potential market for these devices among other coaches. However, the current design will need to evolve a little bit for widespread acceptance.
I really like the idea of being able to capture exactly what I see from my POV so that I can show my swimmers ways to improve their technique. I also like adding my spoken commentary as I record to jog my own memory later on.
In the past, I had a choice of either holding a video camera in front of my face—or to use a stop watch alone and rely on my memory for analysis and miss out on the huge benefit of video for later analysis. With Pivothead, I can get both hands-free and eyes-free POV video and still have the option to either use a stopwatch or not.
I use the hi-def video to get exact time splits by counting video frames. That way I don’t have to use a stopwatch or write times down in a notebook. I just watch my swimmers and concentrate, without distraction, on what they are doing and talk while the video records what I see.
I really r-e-a-l-l-y wanted my Pivothead glasses to work out, as it can potentially solve a pressing need. Unfortunately, I am sending mine back for the 30-day money back refund for reasons that I will detail below. I will certainly consider the next generation, however, if Pivothead can fix a couple of problems with the current design…
I think the folks at Pivothead are definitely on the right track here and this is a great idea, but this current design has a couple of issues that I would love to see resolved…
The first thing for my next generation design wish list would be to move the recording status LED to a place where it can be easily seen while wearing the glasses. As it is currently configured, one has to completely remove the glasses to see if they are recording (which totally defeats the whole hands=free’ idea). Several times I have thought I was recording only to be disappointed when I later find out that the device inexplicably shut off for whatever reason. Putting the LED in front of the eye where it can be seen by the user makes so much more sense than on the inside of the temple (out of view), as it is currently configured. To me, a user must have a constant indication that the deice is recording (or not).
A small microphone in the temple near the ear that emits an optional ‘beep’ when the recording status changes would also be a nice touch.
Another annoying issue is that there is no way to adjust the up/down alignment of the camera. The current design shoots way too high when the earpieces are placed normally on the ears. In order to use mine to video a subject approximately 20 feet away, I must slide the temples up about 1.5 inches above my ears, which looks ridiculous aesthetically. A small adjustment capability, perhaps on the temples at the hinges, would do the trick.
The biggest problem I have with my current Pivotheads is that for whatever reason, mine inexplicably quit recording when there is still plenty of storage and battery remaining—and then they won’t start recording again. That is the main reason that I am sending them back, obviously, but I really hope the folks at Pivothead make a few needed changes to this otherwise great idea so that I can reconsider them in the near future.
There are tens of thousands of other coaches out there just like me who would love to have something like this that works well and is reliable and durable—so Godspeed on the next revisions and please let me know when the next generation is ready.

Great set of glasses, with nice video quality.
In low light conditions the video suffers from a little bit of a grainy effect, but not too bad.
Glasses are obviously a little heavier than a standard set of sunnies but not uncomfortable.
Great product, would recommend for anyone who needs a hands free camera or anyone wanting to do P O V video.

My footage from these glasses will not only be used for entertainment and storing great memories, but will be instrumental in evaluating military actions overseas. When I'm home, these videos will be admitted as evidence for my police job. Great clarity of sound and sight AFTER the chaos stops. Invaluable!
